Could identity theft also be seen as creating a character? That's what came to my mind after I had made this work for a class with guest teacher Josephine Baan, where we learned how to use different aspects of our bodies and surroundings to create an installation.

I don't necessarily think that creating a character is identity theft, but I do think it is a fun way to look at it. Phishing can also become an artistic expression of stealing identities. In this case it is just that I steal from my own imagination to create another being.
